I BECAME A THERAPIST BECAUSE I BELIEVE THERE IS STRENGTH IN VULNERABILITY.

As a Black woman, I find it important to hold space for people of all backgrounds. Social justice is a passion of mine and I am constantly challenging myself to be aware of my biases and blind spots in my work as a therapist.

My goal with each session is for the client to leave feeling seen and heard.

I do not take a one size fits all approach. I bring a mix of information and skills that are relevant to you.

How can I help?

As a therapist, it is my aim to create a space for my clients to feel welcome, safe, and supported. I most enjoy working with teens and adults on a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, disordered eating and body image, life transitions, life balance issues, and perfectionist tendencies.

My therapeutic approach

Each person needs something different from therapy, so I employ an eclectic approach. I draw from somatic-based techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness with a person-centered and strengths-based focus. My goal with each session is for the client to leave feeling better than they came in.

Diversity & Inclusion

I provide client-centered care and have familiarity and experience working with individuals in polyamorous relationships, queer folx, kink dynamics, helping professionals, people experiencing homelessness, sex workers, immigrants, and people of color. I believe safe, compassionate care is a right for all individuals.
